Our Asta Serum is a lightweight, patent-pending product that features the powerful antioxidant, astaxanthin. With an antioxidant efficacy up to 1000 times more than coenzyme Q10, 500 times more than vitamin E, and 10 times more than beta-carotene, astaxanthin has been clinically proven to significantly improve skin health and protect against UV-induced skin deterioration. It does so through its unique structure, consisting of a long, double-bonded poleyene chain. This chain allows astaxanthin to quench harmful oxygen singlets and scavenge any free radicals that may damage the skin following UV exposure.
