Chair stands or box squats are a great exercise for seniors to strengthen quads, and help with cardiovascular health.
Younger people may laugh at exercises like this.
But it depends on who it is programmed for!!!
My best chair stand was with 125lbs in each hand for 15 reps
Moral of the story is that I teach level one- advanced, and have a series of calisthenics or exercises you can do at home with little to no equipment.
We see so much crazy fitness stuff online and think I'll try that.
Most end up injured unless you are trained for injury prevention and resilience!
