Founded in 2001, DFCPTC began as a small family counseling center in north Mississippi. Over the years, we have recognized a need for additional services. DFCPTC is an incredible group of therapists and counselors who are a part of an established private practice, helping individuals, couples, and families for over 20 years. DFCPTC has grown from one counseling therapist to over 24 full-time and p

Join us for a day of wellness and connection at Community Mental Health Day! The event will take place on Saturday, August 8, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Desoto Family Counseling and Pediatric Therapy Center Parking lot. This family-friendly event promotes self-care and rejuvenation for the mind, soul, and body. Our activities will include rock painting, nature and art-focused activities, flower bouquets, bounce houses, animals from the humane society, coffee/food trucks, and more!
