Summer is here, and we’re excited for all the fun that comes with warm, sunny days! As your family spends more time outdoors, don’t forget to take steps to protect your little ones from the sun. ⛱️

☀️ Sun Safety Tips for Babies & Toddlers:

👶 For infants 6 months and younger, choose shady spots and lightweight clothing that helps protect their delicate skin.

🕶️ Add an extra layer of sun protection by using accessories like sunglasses and wide-brimmed hats.

🧴 Choose mineral-based sunscreens formulated for babies to help protect their sensitive skin.

💦 Remember to reapply sunscreen regularly, especially after swimming, water play, or extended time outdoors.

There’s no such thing as cuddling your baby too much! 👶Skin-to-skin contact, also called kangaroo care, helps regulate baby’s heartbeat and breathing, supports healthy weight gain, encourages breastfeeding, and promotes better sleep. And yes, dads are encouraged to do it too! ❤️
