When the unexpected happens, having a team that's prepared makes all the difference. ๐๐
Last Friday, a water main break in Southbury resulted in a precautionary boil water advisory that affected Seabury at Pomperaug Woods and the surrounding area. Our team immediately got to work, notifying residents and staff, distributing bottled water, and putting contingency plans into action.
When we were required to temporarily close our kitchen, our Leadership team arranged takeout meals from a neighboring town so residents wouldn't miss a meal. Meanwhile, we coordinated the delivery of a tanker of certified potable water, allowing our kitchen to reopen Saturday morning.
Thanks to our emergency water supplies and the quick response of our team, care in our Health Center and Memory Care neighborhood continued without interruption.
We're incredibly grateful to everyone who stepped up, worked together, and helped keep our residents safe, comfortable, and well cared for throughout the situation.
