Choppy layers are one of my favorite ways to create effortless movement and lived-in texture. They add softness, remove bulk, and make styling easy while giving the hair a modern, edgy finish.

This client wanted a modern mullet—a fresh take on the classic cut with soft layering, textured sides, and length through the back for that perfectly undone look. It’s bold without being over the top, making it a fun, wearable style that’s full of personality.
