I literally made dinner how in the early hours of labor just to kill time before heading to the hospital. Every hour in labor was so worth it cause the gift I received was unimaginable. The love this little one gives me is incredible.

She is a visionary, talented and creative just like me. Melanie pushes me to my highest level of potential. Literally everything I prayed for thinking I could never have another baby.

So many failed tries, negative pregnancy tests and deep cries asking GOD why I couldn’t be blessed with a daughter. My cries were heard and my prayers were answered.

Happy 7th birthday to my little lady and the President of The Melanie Skye Brand. Little Miss Melanie Skye. I’m so blessed to call her my daughter. I thank GOD for her daily.
