This patient was born with a deformity that caused pain and made wearing shoes almost impossible.

The goal of surgery: correct the alignment, remove painful motion, and restore stability through fusion.

You deserve more than managing symptoms for life.
Early evaluation + the right surgical plan can change everything.

Ball of foot pain that won’t go away? It might be your plantar plate. This small but important ligament sits on the bottom of your toe joints and when it tears it can cause chronic pain, swelling, and even toe deformity over time. Dr. Parr and Dr. Thomas George Jr. see this injury regularly and want you to know it doesn’t have to be something you just live with. Here Dr. Parr demonstrates the Lachman test — a quick in office exam used to diagnose plantar plate tears. Come see us. 👣

When a bunion surgery doesn’t go right, the problems don’t stop there. This patient came to us after a previous procedure left their foot in worse shape than before. The bones in the ball of the foot were pushing through the skin causing serious pain, and for an elderly patient that becomes a dangerous situation fast.

Dr. Parr performed a reconstructive surgery to lift the bones away from the skin and realign the foot. The difference is visible on the x-ray. Patient is now pain free and back on their feet. Posted with patient permission. 👣

Heel fat pad atrophy can lead to chronic heel pain or recurring wounds. Dr. Parr is utilizing Leneva to help restore what’s been lost, right here in our office. Posted with patient permission. 👣
