Friendly reminder to respect our sun! ☀️ We need the sunshine and all its benefits, but we also have to protect our skin from the sun’s strength. Our beach trip last week was refreshing and much needed, but I should have eaten better nutrition and drank more water to help my cells and skin be ready for the sun! We can support our skin from the inside out to prevent burns and dry skin. I made a {NEW RECIPE} just for this! It is excellent for dry, sunburned areas. I made it with wagyu beef tallow, jajoba, olive oil, vitamin E, the dandelion oil I made a few weeks ago, lavender, frankincense, and calendula oil. It’s thick & creamy so my dtr wants me to call it “skin support frosting”. lol lmk if you want the recipe or if you’d like to buy it, or trade for it! I’d love some homegrown fruits/veggies if you have some! Let’s make a swap! Stay hydrated, eat the rainbow, get that sunshine goodness, and lmk if you want any of this skin support frosting!! 🤗

I have learned so much about blood sugar regulation since getting a continuous glucose monitor for myself! I do not have diabetes or pre diabetes but it’s super interesting to see how my body still responds to different foods and drinks and how different movements and exercises affect the spikes. Mouthwash is SUPER easy to make at home! And you know exactly what’s going in it! Clove & Ceylon cinnamon steeped in water… then add peppermint oil & coconut oil. No junk ingredients, just herbs🌿 and spices ❤️ there’s a million different ways to make it but this one is our personal favorite.

Just sitting at my desk, enjoying the snow fall…. And ofc my hot herbal tea! Want to know which herb is my fave? Dandelion! It is soooo helpful for our bodies!! Here are a few reasons why i love it!

-flushes toxins by working as a natural diuretic, improving fluid retention
-contains antioxidants like beta carotene that help protect our cells and fight inflammation
-improves gut health with prebiotic properties, can ease constipation, and improve digestion
-contains lots of awesome vitamins like A,C,K, and E and minerals like iron, calcium, magnesium, and potassium

We just got back from a very long, very frustrating grocery run. Ughhhh! Shoot me a text if you still need to go before the storm hits so I can personally pray for you! We had to make some lemon balm, ashwagandha, and lavender tea to calm our nerves as soon as we got home! ☺️ anyone else just ready to get through this weekend already?!
