This Memorial Day weekend, we’re honored to share a special piece of Stone Drug history. 🇺🇸

Ellen Jensen was one of the original faces on the “drug store block” of Spanish Fork Main Street. She began working for the Magleby family in 1942 and continued on with a smile when the store became Stone Drug. For 40 years, Ellen served at the grill, helping create the warm, welcoming atmosphere that’s still part of our tradition today.

Ellen never had a driver’s license, so her husband, Oral, made sure she got to and from work each day—and even stepped in to deliver chocolate shakes when needed. Now that’s teamwork. ❤️

This week, we’re especially touched to see a Memorial flag on our block honoring Ellen’s son, Captain Myron Oral Jensen. He bravely served in both the Korean and Vietnam Wars as a member of the U.S. Air Force before his life was tragically lost in 1962.

We remember his service, and we’re grateful for the legacy of the Jensen family—both in our store and in our community.
