with Arielle Estoria Yep, I’d like to go back to social media before the algorithms and ads. Who remembers when we actually got to see the content of the people we wanted to follow and in real time? Aaaaaand now it’s lunch time. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Finally got my desk clean and workable. I’ve actually accomplished a lot more than just getting my desk cleaned, but this is the main thing that I can see. So, my ADHD brain will tell me that this is the only thing that I accomplished BECAUSE it’s the only thing that I can see. And because I didn’t keep a checklist and check off all the other things that I accomplished since I got to my office, this is the only thing that it looks like I accomplished. Black & white, concrete, inflexible thinking can be frustrating, and it can impact us neurodivergents in ways that we don’t realize.
