My name is Claire Schwartz, and I am the owner and founder of Miriam’s Well Healing LLC. I offer a unique, holistic practice, with counseling, backed up by the energetic power of Reiki (Ray-key) energy and workshops that empower people to become their own healers. No more suffering in silence and helplessness - I am all about creating Tools for people to use in their lives to break through to their next emotional triumph and to create the happiness you deserve. My approach is a holistic one, in that I deeply believe that you cannot pull apart the mental, physical, emotional and spiritual aspects of your Self. When one suffers in one part, it manifests elsewhere - don't you find this to be true? When we address your entire person, we increase your chance of peace of mind exponentially. I come from a place I call The Dark Ugly - it wasn't easy to find my way. But now after 40+ losses and more than 30 years along on my own healing path, my insight and tools have grown immensely. If you or a loved one are dealing with a loss of any kind, or a trauma that has left you confused and spinning, you are not stuck with your suffering - I don't want that for you. You are never alone. I was terribly moved to watch the memorial service for First Lady Rosalynn Carter yesterday - my god, the contributions of this women are astounding. She lived a life of service and compassion for those in need - walking the path of righteousness until she could walk no more.

May we all strive to live up to the example she set, alongside her husband Jimmy. It should not be political to recognize the changes they brought to the world, lifting up those in poverty, homelessness, mental illness and downtrodden. This is God's work, no matter what path you follow.

May she have a peaceful journey home.

Too often Trauma Survivors are met with dismissal - rejection - and really painful attacks. If you really want to help, you must come from a place of No Judgement. Compassion is everything.

If the behavior of a traumatized individual is confusing, please ask an expert to help you understand what is happening, so that you don't make things worse and so that person can get the help they need.
