We had a wonderful time enjoying the afternoon, connecting with everyone, and being part of such a fun community event. We are grateful for our partnership and the opportunity to spend time with your residents, staff, and community!

This month, Maple Creek Hospice remembers those who have fought, honors those we have lost, and celebrates those who have survived breast cancer.

Breast cancer remains one of the most common cancers affecting women worldwide, making awareness, early detection, education, and support more important than ever.

At Maple Creek Hospice, we stand alongside those whose lives have been touched by breast cancer. We honor the strength of survivors, remember the lives lost, and hold close the families and loved ones who continue to navigate the journey.

Together, we can spread awareness, encourage early detection, and be a beacon of hope for those affected by breast cancer. 💗

❤️ Introducing “Support Connections” ❤️

We are excited to begin hosting Support Connections, a monthly caregiver support group created to provide connection, encouragement, and support for those navigating the challenges of caregiving.

Throughout our years of providing hospice services, we have seen firsthand the mental, emotional, and physical stress that caregiving can bring. We want to create a relaxed, welcoming environment where caregivers can come together, share their experiences, talk with others who understand, and find support.

Each month, members of the Maple Creek Hospice team will also be available to provide education, guidance, and information about helpful community resources.

We hope this becomes a valuable community resource and a place where caregivers know they don’t have to navigate this journey alone. ❤️

Pain Awareness Month — a time to recognize the impact pain can have on individuals and their families, and to remind those living with serious illness that you do not have to face pain alone.

At Maple Creek Hospice, our team focuses on comfort, dignity, and quality of life. We work closely with patients, families, and caregivers to identify pain and other symptoms and develop an individualized plan of care.

Pain can look different for everyone. Sometimes it is physical. Sometimes it can affect emotions, sleep, relationships, and overall well-being.

Mary Schilling Celebrates 101 Years!

Mary Schilling of Ruma, is celebrating a huge milestone—her 101st birthday! In honor of her special day, the Maple Creek Hospice team joined together to celebrate Mary and 101 wonderful years of life, memories, and love.

The celebration was filled with smiles, laughter, and plenty of birthday cheer as everyone gathered to make Mary’s day extra special. Maple Creek Hospice is honored to be a part of Mary’s journey and grateful for the opportunity to celebrate such a remarkable milestone with her.

This month, we honor the individuals living with Alzheimer’s and the families, caregivers, and loved ones who walk beside them. We recognize the strength it takes to provide care, the importance of patience and compassion, and the value of making every moment meaningful. 💜
