Our Activities Department recently took some of our residents out for a little end of summer adventure, complete with cold sweet treats from our local Dairy Queen!

There's nothing better than getting out, enjoying the community, sharing some laughs, and making sweet memories together. A perfect way to say goodbye to summer.

🌸 ☕Pink, Pretty, and Powered by a Cup of Ambition☕🌸

We celebrated Dolly Day in true Dolly fasion- Wearing our prettiest pink🩷 sipping some "cups of Ambition" (Iced Coffee) and having a whole lot of fun!!!

After all , it takes a little caffeine and a whole lot of sparkle to keep up workin' 9 to 5!

We're excited to welcome Bob back to our Miletree family, this time in a new role as Account Manager with Healthcare Services.

Bob previously spent a year with us in housekeeping, where his fun loving personality, willingness to help, and genuine love for our residents made him a familiar face around the center.

We're so happy to have him back and excited to see him take on this new adventure. Welcome to the Team, Bob! We're Glad you're here.

🎉 Please Give a Big Miletree Welcome to Lea and Alexis! ❤️

Lea is a brand-new CNA graduate, but she's definitely not new to Miletree! After working in our Dietary Department, our residents and staff loved her so much that we just had to keep her around. Her passion for helping the elderly began while caring for family members, and now shes's bringing that caring heart to our CNA team.

Alexis has been a CNA for 5 years and knew from the moment she started her CNA course here, that she had found something she loved. Her heart for the elderly, and especially our residents, helped bring her back to Miletree.

Welcome Home, Ladies! We're so happy to have you as part of our Miletree family!🏠

🎶 A Moment to Slow Down, Listen & Relax 💙

We recently had the opportunity to offer our residents a peaceful sound therapy-inspired experience, made even more special thanks to a wonderful family member who worked alongside our Activities Department to create a calm and welcoming environment.

Through gentle sounds, soothing vibrations, and a relaxing atmosphere, residents were invited to simply slow down, listen, and enjoy the moment. Experiences like these can provide opportunities for relaxation, sensory engagement, mindfulness, and meaningful connection.

We are especially grateful when our families share their time and talents with our residents. It truly takes a community to create special moments like these. 💙

A heartfelt thank you to Brandy Little and our Activities team for thinking outside the box and bringing something unique and peaceful to our residents! 🎵✨

WE REMEMBER 🇺🇸WE HONOR 🇺🇸WE APPRECIATE 🇺🇸

Today, We pause to remember September 11, 2021- a day that so many of our residents remember vividly and a day our nation will never forget ❤️🤍💙

This morning, We had the privilege of showing a little love and appreciation to some of our own local heroes. we delivered breakfast pastries along with heartfelt handwritten cards from our residents thanking them for all they do for our community.

To our local first responders: THANK YOU!! Thank you for answering the call, for showing up when our community needs you most, and for the countless things you do behind the scenes to keep our friends, families, and neighbors safe. We are incredibly greatful for each and every one of you.

We would also like to give a very special thank you to one of our own, Stephanie Justice, our Rehab Operation Coordinator. When she isn't serving our residents and team, Stephanie continues to serve our community through Roane County EMS, the Volunteer Fire Dept., and her own-K9 Search and Rescue Operations of WV. We are proud to have one of our local heroes as part of our family, and we appreciate the heart and dedication you bring to both our residents and community.

Today we remember those we lost, honor those who answered the call, and celebrate the local heroes who continue to serve. WE WILL NEVER FORGET 9*11*2001🇺🇸
