We have some exciting news to share with our community! Jill Sanders, MA, BCBA from Hands in Motion and Dr. Mariah Schreven, DNP, ARNP, CPNP-PC, PMHS, CALC neurodivergent parenting coach from Uplift ADHD Clinic have teamed up to provide a one-of-a-kind parent training program: "Parenting Neurodiverse Children - A holistic Approach"! This is a fantastic resource for families looking for deeper support and connection.

Starting Thursday, May 28th, from 5-6 PM, this 12-week program takes a holistic approach to parenting neurodiverse children. We know that every journey is different, which is why this group replaces generic parenting clichés with clinical neuroscience to help you understand the "why" behind your child’s brain. We move past behavior management to implement evidence-based, neuro-affirming tools that foster deeper connection and evidence-based support for neurodivergent families.

Interested? Register here: https://forms.gle/NVac9eiKRGEvQXuk9

Contact us to see if insurance covers the program! If not covered by insurance, the cost for the full 12-week session is $250. Mark your calendars for May 28th and get ready to grow together.

Holidays like Easter bring a lot of excitement, but for our neurodivergent kiddos, the extra noise, crowds, and changes in routine can feel a bit overwhelming. We want to help you navigate these spring gatherings with ease and connection! 🌷

If you're planning an egg hunt, consider a sensory-friendly version: maybe a 'quiet hunt' or one with staggered start times to keep the energy calm. Don't forget to build in plenty of sensory breaks where your child can recharge in a peaceful space.

Maintaining routines where possible and using visual schedules or AAC/ASL to prep for the day can make a world of difference. Whether you're signing 'more eggs' or using a communication device to share the joy, the goal is meaningful connection at your child’s pace. 🤟✨

We see you, parents! You're doing an amazing job. We know the holidays can be a lot, but taking it one sensory-friendly step at a time helps everyone enjoy the season.

How are you keeping things low-stress this spring? Share your tips with our community below! 👇

Spring is finally here, and we’re so excited to get outside and explore!

One of our favorite things about this season is that communication isn't just for the classroom or therapy room: it happens everywhere. Whether we’re signing "FLOWER" at the park, using an AAC device to ask for the "SLIDE," or just chatting about the birds, every moment is a beautiful opportunity to connect and learn.

Our goal is always to bridge the gap through language acquisition, and what better way to do that than in the sunshine? We love seeing our families across Washington and Idaho finding joy in these everyday interactions.

How are you and your little ones staying connected outdoors this week? Let’s share some spring inspiration in the comments!
