Taking a little coastal break 🌊🥖🦀🍪
House on a Hill Bakery will be on vacation at the Washington coast from June 12th through June 23rd, 2026. During this time, baked goods will be available in limited stock, a special thank you to helping while we’re away! Be sure to grab your favorites early before they’re gone!
The next fresh bread restock will begin on Friday, June 26th, 2026, and I’ll be back in kitchen ready to fill your shopping haul with sourdough, tiramisu, and all the cozy baked goods you’ve been missing.

Today we are serving build your own panini from the kitchen window as well, but keep your eyes out for Saturday for The Blissful Whisk and our Mac and Cheese bar featuring tons of mix-in options and fun toppings!! Get ready for a fresh experience! The City of Spokane Valley - Municipal Government has partnered with Four Roots and the Spokane Conservation District to bring you the Spokane Valley Farmers Market at The Scale House Market for the 2026 season. Join us every Friday from 4 to 7 p.m., June 5 through Aug. 28, 2026, at 4422 E 8th Ave in Spokane Valley, where you can shop local produce and goods, enjoy live entertainment, delicious eats and fun activities for all ages.

Thanks to The Scale House Market, the beloved Spokane Valley Farmers Market will return to our community after the previous market partner was unable to continue. We’re thankful for keeping the market in the Valley and look forward to long-term plans to continue working with The Scale House Market to move it to Balfour Park in 2028, after construction of the playground and splash pad are complete next year.

Sunday… What a day!!

Thank you to everyone who came out to our sourdough focaccia classes - we know it started off a little *too* chilly outside, but you all stuck it out and turned it into such a warm, fun, and genuinely exciting experience. Watching everyone dive in, get creative, and share laughs (and delicious focaccia!) made it all so worth it.

We’re so grateful for your energy, patience, and enthusiasm—you’re what made the class so special.

And good news… we’re already dreaming up the next one 👀 A *customizable charcuterie focaccia class* is in the works! Dates are still to be determined, but trust us—you won’t want to miss this one.

Stay tuned for details, and thanks again for being such an amazing group 💛
