πŸ… How are your tomato plants doing this year?

It has been a bit of a wild start to the growing season with the weather keeping all of us guessing. Some gardens are thriving, while others have been struggling through the ups and downs.

We would love to hear from you!
Tell us:
β€’ What varieties are you growing?
β€’ Are your tomatoes flowering yet?
β€’ Any challenges so far this season?

And, if you have questions about tomatoes, drop them in the comments! Our team will do our best to help answer them. Pruning?'s, Watering?'s, ask away!!

Whether you are growing one patio plant or a backyard jungle of tomatoes, we would love to see photos too!

🩸 Give Blood. Save Lives. Strengthening Our Community.

Vets on the Farm is proud to partner with the Spokane Conservation District and the American Red Cross for an upcoming community blood drive!

Just like growing food, donating blood is a simple act that can have a life-changing impact on someone else's life. Every day, patients rely on generous donors for surgeries, cancer treatments, traumatic injuries, and emergency care. By giving blood, you are helping ensure that lifesaving resources are available when they are needed most.

We are honored to help bring our community together in support of this critical and ongoing need. Whether you are a first-time donor or a longtime supporter, we invite you to join us in giving back.

πŸ“ 4422 E 8th Ave., Spokane Valley, WA 99212
πŸ“… June 25, 2026
⏰ 10am – 3pm
Every donation matters. Every donor makes a difference.
We hope to see you there!

🌱 Peppers are officially in the CAT Tunnel! 🌱

This week our team was drilling, planting holes, transplanting starts, and getting hundreds of pepper plants settled into their new home.
Every plant represents hard work, teamwork, and another step toward a productive growing season.

A CAT Tunnel is a simple, covered growing structure which helps create a warmer, more protected environment for crops.
Why grow peppers in a CAT Tunnel?
β˜€οΈ Warmer soil and air temperatures help peppers establish faster and grow more vigorously.
🌧️ Protection from wind, rain, and unpredictable spring weather reduces plant stress.
πŸ… A longer growing season gives heat-loving crops like peppers a better chance to thrive and produce higher yields.
🐝 Better growing conditions mean healthier plants and more abundant harvests for our community.

We are excited to watch these peppers grow over the coming months!
