Just wanted to give everybody an update now that I’ve been retired a little over a year . I had hoped that taking time off might allow me to return to tattooing in a limited capacity but my problems have worsened and I’m looking at spine surgery in my neck at the end of the month. So that’s officially not happening. Thanks everyone !!

The day has come !! I’m officially retired and Shamrock Tattoo is permanently closed!! Farewell party at the shop 2-4 and then 4-??? at the best hockey bar ever The Hub Tavern!! Thanks to everyone for supporting the last 30 years , it’s been a great ride!!!

Today marks 30 years tattooing professionally!!! This photo was taken by my wife Jenni Hazel in Santa Cruz at Erno Tattoo about 1994 . I’ve got one day left and then I’m retired!!

The shop hours are changing again!! It will be 12-3 Wednesday through Saturday and Sundays by appointment. I am often there later on Saturdays but not always. Thanks everyone!!!

Slightly different hours for thanksgiving week, today 12-3!! Back on Friday 12-5 and Saturday 12-5 , have a great thanksgiving everyone!!

July 1st of next year will be my thirtieth anniversary tattooing professionally!! Unfortunately it will also be when I step away from tattooing and close the shop for personal reasons. If anyone needs work finished we have a few months but I’m not starting any large projects. It’s sad to see it end but 30 years is a pretty good run. Thanks everybody and be excellent to each other !!

Sixteen years ago today Shamrock Tattoo opened it’s doors !! It has been an amazing experience and I have been so lucky to work with so many great people!! It’s been a rough couple years with the pandemic and my carpal tunnel surgery but we made it through it !! Thanks everybody!!!
