💊Would you take your medicine if it tasted like that?

Our residents got to experience pediatric medications from a patient’s perspective during a pharmacy taste-testing didactic! From flavor to formulation, they learned just how much the little details can matter when it comes to getting kids to take their medicine.

A little learning, a little tasting, and a whole lot of making medicine more kid-friendly! 🥄🧃

It’s summer camp season! ☀️🏕️

Some of our residents had the opportunity to spend time at Camp Stix and Camp Journey, making memories, building connections, and doing what pediatricians do best—helping kids have a little more fun! 💙

Camp Stix is a summer camp for children and teens with diabetes.

Camp Journey is a summer camp for children and their families touched by cancer.

We’re so proud of our residents for giving their time, energy, and hearts to these amazing camps! 💛🩺

Recognizing excellence in teaching! 👏

Congratulations to Dr. Baker, Dr. Goshorn, and Leah Berry, ARNP on receiving this year’s Heskett Teaching Awards. Named in honor of Dr. Heskett, whose dedication to educating, mentoring, and inspiring future physicians continues to shape our program, this award recognizes those who carry on that same commitment to excellence in teaching.

Thank you for your passion, leadership, and the lasting impact you make on our residents and the patients they serve. 🌟

A little late, but too good not to share! 🎉

Last month, we welcomed our newest pediatric residents during orientation and kicked off another exciting academic year. They even got an exclusive tour of one of the hospital’s best-kept secrets—the infamous Rock Room. 🤘🪨

We’re so glad you’re here and can’t wait to see all you’ll accomplish. Welcome to the team! 💙🩺

A weekend well spent! ☀️

Our pediatric residents took some time away from the hospital for our annual Resident Retreat. This was a chance to connect, recharge, and strengthen the friendships that make our program so great! From laughter and team-building to creating lasting memories together, we’re grateful for the opportunity to invest in wellness and our residents.
