"In honor of the brave, who rest, Their final slumber undisturbed, We gather here, with hearts oppressed, And grateful thoughts, in silence heard.
On fields where crimson poppies bloom, They fought for freedom, bold and true, With courage strong, dispelling gloom, Their sacrifice we shall review.
Their memory, a hallowed flame, Shall burn eternal in our souls, For they, the fallen, bear no blame, Their names forever on our scrolls.
We raise our voice in solemn prayer, To honor those who bravely fell, Their deeds and valor beyond compare, In our hearts, their stories dwell.
So let us pause, with heads held high, And thank the heroes, strong and bright, Whose valor reached the lofty sky, And blessed us all with freedom's light.
On this Memorial Day, we stand, With reverence for the ones we mourn, In their honor, we vow to expand, The love and peace for which they were born."
