My nervous system may have been wired by abandonment—taught to expect loss, to brace, to guard. But my soul was never built to live in fear. It’s wired for devotion—deep, steady, and unshakable.
I am not broken for feeling both. I am powerful for choosing not to let my past dictate my capacity to love. I can honor what I’ve survived without shrinking what I deserve.
I am allowed to be soft without being unsafe.
I am allowed to stay open without abandoning myself.
I am allowed to choose devotion—fully, boldly, and without apology.
