Here’s a little backstory! I (Danielle) began my journey in the beauty industry as a shampoo girl in a Long Beach, CA salon at just 15. Those early days sparked a dedication that I now bring to House of Braids and Wigs, helping clients look and feel their best.

With over 30 years in the industry—and a special connection to service members in my family, including my father, Michael Lord, a proud Vietnam War veteran—I’m passionate about supporting our community, especially those facing hair loss. Whether you’re seeking a new style or personalized care, we’re here for you!

We also accept vouchers from the Cape Fear Cancer Society and Pinehurst Cancer Society, as well as serving clients through VA hospitals to ensure everyone can access our services.
