Hearing reflections like this is a reminder that care extends far beyond a single session. The body carries so much through seasons like pregnancy and postpartum, and it often needs consistent, thoughtful support to feel steady again.

My intention in every session is to meet the person in front of me with presence, patience, and genuine care for what their body is holding. Over time, that consistency allows the nervous system to soften and feel supported in a way that lasts.

I am deeply grateful to hold space for my clients in every season they move through.

You do not have to keep everything in place for your body to feel safe.
Holding it all together can become a pattern the nervous system relies on, especially after long periods of stress. Over time, that effort can lead to tension, fatigue, and a sense of always being on edge.

The body does not need constant control. It needs moments where it can soften without having to manage everything at once. When there is space to release even a small amount of that pressure, the nervous system can begin to settle.

You are allowed to put some of it down.

Sometimes people find this space when they are simply looking for one thing, and something deeper begins to unfold.

From the first point of contact, my intention is to create an experience that feels warm, safe, and grounded. Not just in the session itself, but in every interaction leading up to it. The nervous system responds to that kind of care, even in the smallest moments.

Hearing reflections like this reminds me that healing often begins with how a space feels before any work is even done.

April is now fully booked, and May is beginning to fill with the same steady pace. I plan my schedule with intention so each client has the time and care they need, which means availability stays limited.

If you have been thinking about coming in, this is a good time to look ahead and reserve your place for May. You can view the calendar and choose a time that works for you through my website.

Feeling like you are too much often comes from carrying more than your body has had the chance to process. Stress, responsibility, and emotion can build over time, and the nervous system adapts by holding it all together.

What you feel is not an excess of who you are. It is the weight of what has been held without enough space to release or integrate. The body can only carry so much before it begins to ask for support.

When that support is present, the system can begin to soften, and what once felt overwhelming can start to ease…

Healing is often associated with intensity, but the body does not require constant emotional release to change. The nervous system responds best to steady, supportive experiences that it can integrate over time.

Gentle work can be effective because it allows the body to feel safe enough to soften without becoming overwhelmed. When the system is not pushed, it is more able to process, regulate, and restore balance in a sustainable way.

If your healing has felt quiet or gradual, it is still real.

Before each session begins, I take time to prepare the space with intention and care. The room is not simply arranged for comfort; it is prepared so that the body can feel safe enough to settle and receive support. Soft lighting, quiet surroundings, and a steady pace help signal to the nervous system that it does not need to stay on guard.

I also pause for a moment of prayer over the room and over the person who will soon walk through the door. This quiet practice allows me to enter the work with presence and respect for the healing process that unfolds here. When someone arrives, my hope is that they step into an environment that already feels calm, supportive, and grounded.

The work that takes place inside this room is built on the belief that the body begins to soften when it senses patience, attention, and care. Every detail of preparation is meant to support that experience so each person can feel welcomed, held, and supported as their body begins its own process of restoration.

At MAVEN & MUSEĀ®, we lean into abundance of time, space, and ease. There is room for your nervous system to settle, heal, and rest.

Sometimes, without knowing, we are exhausted, drained, stressed, on edge, or sad. A method of uncovering this is to embody what you are hiding from. Somatic work, lymphatic work, and other body-led modalities explore regulating the nervous system in a safe environment. There is no forcing openness when your body craves acceptance.

Let’s explore acceptance together.
