Welcome, Ashley!
Ashley earned her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University and is passionate about supporting clients navigating grief and loss, infertility, perinatal concerns, and major life transitions. Her counseling experience includes working with mood and psychotic disorders, trauma, grief, perinatal concerns, homelessness, court-ordered treatment, and a variety of life adjustments.
Her therapeutic approach is grounded in unconditional positive regard and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). She strives to create a compassionate, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel accepted, understood, and supported while developing practical tools to navigate difficult emotions and create meaningful change. When desired, she incorporates spirituality into counseling in a way that honors each client’s beliefs, values, and preferences.
She is continuing to expand her clinical expertise by pursuing Perinatal Mental Health Certification (PMH-C) and working toward grief certification through the American Academy of Grief Counseling. Outside of counseling, she enjoys spending time with her husband and children, who are truly her greatest joy.
