Monday Morning Moment of Healing

Week 16 - Creating Space for New Energy
Good morning, friends, and welcome to your Monday Morning Moment of Healing.
This Week's Reflection
“When you create space within yourself, life has room to meet you in new ways.” — Patricia Zimmerman
What might become available in your life if you created even a little more space within yourself?
Today's Message
Life is always moving. Energy is always flowing. Yet many of us find ourselves holding onto so much that there is little inner space left to receive anything new.
We hold onto old worries. Old habits. Old patterns of thinking. Old responsibilities that no longer belong to us. Old expectations about who we should be.
Over time, this accumulation can leave us feeling full—but not fulfilled. Busy—but not nourished. Occupied—but not truly present.
Creating space is not about emptiness in a negative sense. It is about making room for something more supportive, more aligned, and more life-giving.
Nature shows us this clearly. A garden must be cleared before new seeds can be planted. A cup must be emptied before it can be filled. The act of breathing itself is a rhythm of receiving and releasing. In the same way, our inner world benefits from cycles of letting go and opening up.
When we create space—emotionally, mentally, and energetically—we allow new possibilities to emerge naturally. We begin to notice clarity where there was confusion, calm where there was tension, and openness where there was contraction.
This does not require drastic change. It begins with small, intentional choices. Choosing to pause before reacting. Choosing to release one unnecessary obligation. Choosing to step away from constant stimulation for a moment. Choosing to say no when something does not align. Choosing to rest instead of push.
Each small act of space-making is an act of self-respect. And over time, these small choices begin to reshape your inner landscape. You may begin to feel lighter. Clearer. More present with yourself and your life.
Take a Quiet Moment...
Sit quietly for a few breaths. Gently ask yourself: What in my life is asking to be released so that something new can emerge?
Do not force an answer. Simply notice what comes forward.
A Gentle Practice for the Week
Each day this week, choose one small way to create space. This might include:
* taking five minutes of quiet without input
* clearing one small physical area in your environment
* saying no to one non-essential request
* turning off notifications for a short period
* allowing yourself to simply be without doing
Notice how even small moments of space affect your inner experience. Let this be a gentle experiment, not a task.
Affirmations
* I Am creating space for peace, clarity, and renewal.
* I Am allowing myself to release what is no longer aligned.
* I Am open to receiving what supports my highest well-being.
Closing Blessing
May this week bring you moments of spaciousness within your mind, body, emotions, and spirit.
May you feel the freedom that comes with releasing what you no longer need to carry.
May you discover that even small amounts of space can create profound shifts in how you feel.
May you trust that as you make room within yourself, life has a beautiful way of meeting you there.
