Kicking off summer break in the sweetest way with an ice cream social for our kiddos! It was a fun filled afternoon as we spent time together and enjoyed sweet treats!

Today we hosted our very first student club meeting, The Pokémon Club!

About a month ago, one of our students shared that he wished there were more club opportunities here like at other schools. After talking together, he helped bring the idea of a Pokémon Club to life alongside one of our BCBAs who also enjoys Pokémon!

Together, our student spent time planning a kickoff meeting before the school year ended, and we are so excited that it was such a success.

Seeing student ideas turn into real opportunities is what makes our school community so special. We look forward to continuing Pokémon Club with at least monthly meetings during the 2026-2027 school year!

Meet Mike Meyers, Senior Vice President, Market Officer for TradeLane Properties and a proud member of the Cincinnati Center for Autism Board for the past 18 months.

Mike became involved with CCA after enrolling his son at the school during the organization’s large facility remodel. With a background in real estate and construction, he knew he could help support the mission in a meaningful way.

“I have a son who attends CCA. When my wife and I were enrolling him in the school, CCA was completing a large remodel of their current facility. I knew at that time that my real estate and construction background could be of assistance to the organization. Also, having a child with Autism really made we want to give back to such a wonderful cause.”

Mike sees firsthand the impact CCA has on students and families every day.

“I see first hand the impact that CCA has on a child with Autism. I cannot applaud the leadership and the staff enough for what they do. They go above and beyond every day to serve those in need.”

One of the things Mike is most proud of is watching CCA continue to grow and expand its reach to serve more children and families in need of a positive educational experience.

Outside of work and volunteering, Mike enjoys golfing, working in the yard, and making improvements around his home.

Last night, the CCA Board of Directors, staff, friends, and family gathered for the unveiling and dedication of our Transition Wing to the Galish Family.

The Galish family has been an important part of CCA throughout our history, serving as student, employees, PTO member, board member, volunteers, and donors to projects both big and small. Through every season of growth and change, they have remained steadfast supporters of our mission.

There is no more meaningful place for this dedication than our Transition Wing. The Galish family’s journey with CCA began when Alex was very young and continued through transition at age 21 and beyond. Their unwavering support, commitment, and belief in our mission have helped shape CCA into what it is today.

We are deeply grateful for the lasting impact the Galish family has made on our community!

Join us June 8–12, 2026, for a week full of creativity, connection, and laughter! This inclusive camp is designed for students ages 14–19 with Autism and provides a safe, welcoming environment to explore improvisation, build social and communication skills, and create art together.

Thank you Purple Monkey Project for including CCA and honoring one of our very own with the Reagan Vanoss Spirit Award! 💜

Earlier this evening we awarded Tyler Mason, Cincinnati Center for Autism, with a Reagan Vanoss Spirit Award. This award is given to a student who demonstrates the joy, kindness and competitive spirit that defined Reagan. Each recipient receives a framed certificate and $500!

From Tyler's teachers: Tyler was selected for this award because he truly embodies the spirit of kindness, joy, and positivity that this recognition represents. He is kind to everyone he meets and it’s evident in the way students are naturally drawn to him, every student who interacts with Tyler wants to be his friend. A few weeks into the school year, Tyler transitioned to a new classroom and he handled that change with a smile and a positive attitude. His ability to adapt so gracefully speaks to his character and resilience. Tyler consistently shows kindness to his classmates, even in moments when others may struggle to do the same. He leads by example, creating a supportive and welcoming environment for those around him. His joyful personality and genuine happiness are contagious, and he regularly brings a smile to the faces of both staff and administration. In addition, Tyler has big goals for his future and is always thinking about ways to achieve them. His motivation, paired with his kindness and uplifting spirit, make him a truly deserving recipient of this award.
