✨ The Magic of Community Health Centers Doesn't End When the Conference Does!

Last month, health center leaders, clinicians, board members, and partners came together at IPHCA’s 2026 Annual Leadership Conference to learn, connect, and lead. From innovative care models and workforce development to technology, financial sustainability, and expanding access, one thing was clear: the future of community health is built together.

Across Illinois, community health centers serve more than 1.5 million patients every year, providing essential whole-person care rooted in their communities.

Another incredible day at the 2026 IPHCA Annual Leadership Conference! From meaningful conversations and thought-provoking sessions to collaboration and connection, Day Three was a powerful reminder of what’s possible when Illinois’ community health center community comes together.
Today’s conversations explored some of the most important topics shaping the future of CHCs from AI and innovation to workforce, behavioral health, finance, data, access, and sustainability.

🚀 EXPANDING ACCESS. BRINGING SPECIALTY CARE CLOSER TO HOME.
A new partnership is bringing AndHealth to Illinois and creating new opportunities for community health center patients to access specialty care.
In this video, leaders from AndHealth, IPHCA, and Christopher Rural Health Planning Corporation discuss the specialty care gaps facing CHC patients, where a referral to a rheumatologist, dermatologist, or neurologist can mean waiting four to six months or traveling hours for care.
Through this partnership, patients will be connected to specialists and comprehensive disease management through the care team they already know and trust. 🤝
Illinois is AndHealth’s third state, following partnerships with community health centers in Ohio and Indiana.

🎩 Featured speaker Ben Whiting delivered an electrifying keynote, blending the art of magic with practical leadership development strategies.
🤝 The IPHCA team announced a new partnership with andhealth, opening the door to new opportunities for innovation and collaboration.
🏢 And our 85 exhibitors brought their solutions to the forefront, connecting with attendees and showcasing the tools and resources supporting CHCs across Illinois.
But we’re not done yet! 🚀
Tomorrow brings another full day of learning, connection and collaboration, including our annual CEO Breakout Session, clinical and financial professional staff meetings, and two thought-provoking roundtables.

Day One of the 2026 IPHCA Annual Leadership Conference was filled with connection, inspiration, learning and of course, a little bit of Magic.
From the annual in-person Board of Directors meeting to 18 educational sessions, today was a powerful reminder of what makes Illinois’ community health centers so special: the people who show up every day to make a difference in the lives of patients and communities across our state.
And we’re just getting started! 🚀
