This past weekend, the MCCP Foundation participated in the community health fair hosted by St Mark's Lutheran Church, Springfield, Virginia! Our team provided dental screenings, helping children and families learn more about their oral health and the importance of regular dental care.

At MCCP, we believe every child deserves access to quality health care, and we’re grateful to be part of a community that comes together to help make that possible.

As families prepare for the new school year, the Fairfax County Health Department is offering free immunization clinics to help students meet Virginia's school vaccine requirements.

These clinics are open to all Fairfax County students who need required school immunizations. Families are welcome to attend even if they are unsure which vaccines their child may need.

Vaccinations help protect children, classmates, and the community while ensuring students are ready to start the school year on time.

Please see the flyer for clinic dates, locations, and instructions on how to make an appointment. We encourage families to schedule their visit as soon as possible, as appointments may fill quickly.

The MCCP Foundation has been selected as a nonprofit partner in the Giant Food Community Bag Program!

For the entire month of July, MCCP will receive $1 for every $2.75 reusable Community Bag sold at the following location:

Giant Food - 8320 Old Keene Mill Road, Springfield VA

Every bag purchased not only helps reduce single-use plastic waste - it also helps us connect more Fairfax County children to vital medical and dental care. Thank you for supporting our mission and the environment at the same time!

Help NOVA Community College students dress for success!

As students prepare to return to campus this fall, many are also getting ready for internships, job interviews, and the start of their careers. You can help by donating new or gently used professional clothing to support their journey.

This clothing drive will help ensure students have the confidence and attire they need to make a great first impression.

Get ready for the 2026–2027 school year!

Our friends at Inova Cares Clinics are offering FREE school physicals and immunizations this summer for children ages 5 and older who are uninsured or enrolled in Medicaid. These services help families check important health requirements off their back-to-school checklist.

Appointments are required, and families must bring their child's vaccination records to their visit.

Today, MCCP was proud to host students from Woodburn School at Northern Virginia Community College-Medical Education Campus for a special day of smiles and learning!

Woodburn students received dental screenings and cleanings from NVCC Dental Hygiene students, helping children access important preventive oral health care in a welcoming, hands-on setting.

This partnership is a win for everyone: children receive quality dental care, while NVCC students gain valuable clinical experience, public health exposure, and class credit as they prepare for careers in healthcare.

We are grateful to our partners at FCPS and NVCC for helping make oral health care more accessible for local children and for investing in the next generation of compassionate providers.

This past weekend, we were honored to join SevaTruck in celebrating their anniversary!

Thank you to the SevaTruck team for including the MCCP Foundation in such a meaningful event. We loved connecting with families, sharing health resources, and helping community members learn more about enrolling in the MCCP program.

SevaTruck is a valued partner, consistently providing nutritious meals and food to the families we serve. Together, we are strengthening our community and supporting the health and well-being of children and families across the region.
