so it's been a while since I last posted. Many things happened, but they were not all that big in stature, and things got really busy really quick.
I got two more tratments of Pluvicto, an it appears, that they are not doing much. My PSA numbers are still climbing from a low f 20 to 500+ - not that positive at all. But it will take atleast four to six treatments before the pluvicto may register. My oncologist is keeping a eye on things and if the numbers continue to rise, she will ask about using some of my older drugs to work with this.
A new thing has also come up: arthritis. I have an old person's affliction. I'm 60, so I guess, I am no longer young. Both my knees are pretty stiff, an either tylenol or heat helps. The cold DC winters have proven to be a real issue with me, as my mornings are spent in bed warming up.
With the arthritis and general soreness of my leg, my motivation to do things has been low, which I find very frustrating. My new enemy is now my phone - it's too easy to waste time scrollng online to see what is up. My attention span is lower too, so doing big projects isn't interesting to me.
You'd think with all f this, I would be pretty down, and every so often, I do get down. But I still find things to do, and I have good company everyday with Elvis here.
He's a good dog and has been watching over me day in and day out. I've been waching him too - he's 12 and losing his sight, so I help him out if he has any problems. He still sees me, and i see him.
Because of all the crazy health things going on - I can walk 5 miles, but need two days to recover - Or my digestive system is simply not working like it should - Or my legs feel cold most of the time from the inside, so warming takes time - i haven't done much of anything. It sucks.
But I'm not getting worse. And that's something to be happy with. And with this holiday season, I'm happy with that and with all the friends and family I have.
Now to get some gifts, especially for the pup (and Dougie too! And Bubba! And Rosie!)
