This school year, we served over 18 million meals to our students. That means 18 million times to reduce childhood hunger, boost classroom focus, and bring smiles to our community.

Staff Spotlight: Happy Retirement to Dawn Dzurilla! ✨

For over 24 years, Dawn has served as the Kitchen Manager at Terraset Elementary. As she prepares to retire this year, she leaves behind a legacy that will be hard to match. Dawn’s dedication to her students and school community is felt every day. Even during the busiest lunch rushes, she knows her "angels" by name and greets them all with a smile.

Congratulations to our very own Kevin Brown and Melissa DeAngelo, who won the Outstanding Nonschool-Based Operational Employee Award and Outstanding Nonschool-Based Leader Award! 🏆

Kevin and Melissa ensure that every FCPS student has consistent access to nutritious and diverse meals. They lead and support our Food and Nutrition Services teams with grace, kindness, and a work ethic that doesn't give up when a solution is needed.

We are incredibly proud of the work they do every day to support not only our students, but our whole department! Congrats, Kevin and Melissa!! 💛🎉
