Repost . This theme has been coming up a lot lately. People often ask me, how they should go about explaining their healing journey to family and friends. My answer is simple... you don’t . 🤷🏾‍♀️

Not everyone will understand or support the path you take to approach deep healing, because often times, it requires putting some distance between yourself and your pain source (the ones we love). But however you find it...therapy, hypnotherapy, reiki, shadow work, journaling, meditation, plant medicine (just to name a few), that is your responsibility to enforce and maintain by any means necessary if you are committed to your healing. You cannot prioritize the opinions and misunderstandings of others, above your journey to peace. You’re just gonna have to put on those metaphorical noise cancelling headphones, and keep going. You’ll see them on the other side...💜
