Loved attending this birth!! This induction went quicker than any of us thought it would, and this mama had a look of pure joy on her face after pushing out her baby (no coaching, no holding her breath....maybe no getting out of the tub 🤫😉). Absolutely amazing!

I am always cautioning first-time moms that inductions can be very long experiences. 2-3 days is not uncommon from admission to baby.

But birth is unpredictable....

This first-time mom's medically necessary induction took only 8 hours! 🙌

This definitely doesn't happen every time (it is probably my shortest ever for a client), but it's a lesson in that you truly never do know how birth is going to go.

This baby gave his parents a surprise by showing up exactly one month before his guess-date! This mama handled it with so much grace and faith and had a quick, unmedicated birth. 💗

I braved the storms tonight to witness a 5th-time mom have her first unmedicated birth! This induction went from 0 to 100 lightning fast, and I arrived just as she started pushing. Women are absolutely amazing! 💪

I was blessed with another fast labor support this morning! After over a week of prodromal labor, this second-time mama gave birth just 2.5 hours after her water broke this morning.

Just three hours after getting home from this morning's birth, I headed back to Mercy for another client. Thankfully this birth was shorter, and I'm heading home now to sleep. 🥱

Even with a shorter labor, this client still navigated several big twists and turns to get her baby here. So proud of each of my clients! 😊
