Ahhhh, another glorious home birth in the books! People often think that home birth is dangerous, but Home midwives come prepared for all kinds of emergencies. They have the ability to resuscitate, give oxygen, administer medication to stop hemorrhage, give IV fluids, and know when to call for help before it’s too late. Many of the times I’ve witnessed homebirths I’ve thought about how if that same labor pattern was happening in the hospital, it likely would’ve been a C-section. Too often c-sections happen because the pushing went on too long, the baby’s wasn’t in a favorable position, an induction was pushed for non-medical reasons and not enough time was given. If you and your baby are healthy and you desire an unmedicated, low intervention birth, a home birth is a safe option.

✨ You were never meant to carry this journey alone. ✨

If you are hoping, waiting, grieving, trying again, or simply longing to become pregnant… you deserve support that nourishes your whole self. 💛

Fertility journeys can feel isolating, but there is something deeply healing about gathering with others, moving your body gently, breathing deeply, and remembering that you are still whole in the waiting.

Yoga for fertility isn’t about “fixing” you.
It’s about creating space to soften stress, reconnect to your body, regulate your nervous system, and feel supported by community along the way. 🌿

Come as you are — hopeful, uncertain, emotional, tired, open-hearted. There is room for all of it here.

Together we breathe.
Together we heal.
Together we remember that support matters.

Options in a hospital birth you might not know you have...

1 - Nitrous Oxide - Nitrous is a amazing tool to help get you over that hurdle of transition. It provides relief without taking away your freedom of movement

2 - Wireless monitoring - often call the Novii, this monitor continuously tracks your waves pattern and your baby's heart rate withoug tethering you to a machine. See if your hospital offers the novii or another wireless option

3 - Skip the IV/Heplock - if you are not in medical need of an IV you can skip it until it becomes medically necessary. Which brings me too...

4 - Intramuscular postpartum pitocin - Pitocin is often given automatically - intravenously immediately after birth, even if it's not medically indicated. This is done to prevent hemorrhage, but, if you are unmedicated and are not showing any signs of hemorrhage you can skip the postpartum pit. And if it becomes necessary you can opt for the intramuscular version to stay IV free.

5 - You can ask for a different nurse if the one assigned to you isn't respecting your boundaries or birth plans.

6 - You can eat and drink freely even if their "policy" says you can't. Stick with hydrating foods that are easy to digest. Fruits, veggies and simple starches with lots of water and electrolytes will be helpful.

7 - You can deny anything you do not want. Obviously you are birthing in a hospital because you want access to medical support if/when you need it. BUT that does not mean that you have to follow the institutions "policies". You are an autonomous being and you make all the decisions about which interventions you allow and which ones you don't.

I've witness some truly magical hospital births. PM me for more tips about how to create an environment that supports your empowering birth desires.

We’re thrilled to announce our newest class! This 4-week virtual fertility yoga series is a space to soften, breathe, and feel supported while navigating the tender journey of trying to conceive. Together, we will create a compassionate community where all emotions are welcome — hope, grief, fear, anger, joy, uncertainty, and everything in between. This series is open and affirming to all people hoping to become pregnant, including LGBTQ+ individuals on the path to parenthood.

Each 75-minute class will include gentle yoga postures, breathwork, guided visualizations, and time for reflection and connection with others who truly understand this experience. The intention is to nurture your nervous system, support your body, and remind you that you do not have to walk this path alone.

Last weekend, I had the joy of hosting our Held and Honored event, and I left feeling so full. Watching women gather together in authenticity, vulnerability, laughter, conversation, movement, and rest reminded me again how deeply we need one another. There is something profoundly healing about being in spaces where you don’t have to explain yourself, perform, or carry everything alone.
One of the topics that came up during the event was “my cup is filled when I spend time with other mothers. I need more of that.” I hear this so often from my clients and students. We are collectively craving more spaces to unite. More places to be seen. More opportunities to connect with other women walking through pregnancy, postpartum, and motherhood.
And honestly, I feel that too.
Motherhood can be incredibly beautiful, but it can also feel isolating — especially in a culture that asks women to keep giving without always receiving the same care in return. That’s why I remain so committed to creating spaces where mothers can gather, move, breathe, laugh, rest, and simply be together.
Our ongoing live yoga classes continue to offer not only movement and support for your changing body, but also a consistent space for meaningful connection with other mothers who truly understand this season of life. Again and again, I hear from women that these classes become more than yoga — they become a place to land.
Thank you for being my event doula and .legacy for your support in making our event beautiful and stress free!

Happy Mother’s Day to all the wonderful mamas out there! I hope you feel held and honored today. And for all those who deeply long to be a mother, have lost their mother, who never had a mother, or have complicated relationships with their mothers, and mothers who have lost their child, I send you healing, loving light today. And to those who are badass step mothers, those who nurture like mothers, and those who support the mothers, I see you and deeply appreciate you.

As we approach Mothers Day, I want to ask you - do you feel held and honored on this holiday each year? Many of us end up feeling even less appreciated, even less seen, even less validated on this day that is meant to celebrate and acknowledge all that we do throughout the year. If you are craving a way to fully replenish before the family festivities begin, I invite you to join us tomorrow evening for a sacred celebration of motherhood with other mothers.

Held & Honored: A Mother’s Eve Reset - is a gentle evening designed to offer mothers the rare gift of being fully supported. Settle into restorative yoga positions where your body is held by props, the ground, and the wall, allowing deep rest without effort. As you soften, soothing vibrations of crystal singing bowls will wash over you, calming the nervous system and inviting true restoration. After practice, stay to be nourished with healthy snacks and handcrafted mocktails made with ingredients that support the nervous system and promote ease and balance. These intentional sips offer a clear, replenishing way to unwind—an alternative form of pause and pleasure that leaves you feeling restored rather than depleted. This workshop is an invitation to receive, replenish, and be held, so you can step into Mother’s Day feeling grounded, nurtured, and deeply cared for.

This event is nearly sold out. Sign up now to hold your space! Link in comments.
