Many people ask my opinion on electrolyte powders as an IV hydration nurse and these are my recommendations:
I’m a lover of the basics. I prefer no fillers, sugar, or BS in my electrolytes which is why I stick to sea salt and these two products.
1) Boulder Salt. A pinch or two in room temp water in the morning or throughout the day is best to prevent dehydration, headaches, muscle cramps, even hangovers. This option tastes salty but you’re an adult. Get over it and stay healthy 💧
2) BioBody Remineralize Macro and Micro Nutrients. There’s hardly a taste and it can be disguised in juice, tea, lemon water, and other drinks to sneak in electrolytes. Start with 10 drops a day and work up to 40 drops as you get used to it.
Most flavored electrolyte powders on the market upset my stomach due to sugar, artificial sweeteners, low quality ingredients, and they aren’t potent enough to make a difference due to the low number of electrolytes.
