Save The Date…. Sort Of 💚

10+ years of building this. Every year, one event reminds me why. 💚

The I AM SOMEBODY! Foundation’s annual holiday event is coming — a day built around community, connection, and reminding kids and families they are seen.

I’m starting to plan now so this year’s event is the best one yet. Interested in sponsoring or volunteering? Reach out to me directly at [email protected].

More details (including the date) coming soon. 💚

I am somebody. So are you.

“My niece Anylah is only 10, and she’s already teaching me things about resilience I didn’t expect to learn from a fifth grader. Her mom said it best — she’s showing other kids with disabilities that they get to live the life they want, not one anyone else dictates for them.

That’s the whole mission, right there, in one little girl. I AM SOMEBODY! isn’t just my story — it’s hers too. 💛 Link in bio.”

Big Bro, Lil Bro Tag! CP Warriors! 💚

Hey the one thing that a St. Louis cerebral palsy/special needs momma is going to do is make sure that their children always look their best and presentable whenever it’s time to go out in public. It’s almost like it’s a mandatory requirement for them.

I guess their philosophy is if people are going to stare let’s give them something to stare at but in a positive way. So, if they have questions about our disabilities they can ask but they also going to leave a complement on how well dressed and well up keep that we are as well…

It’s a quiet kind of love — making sure the world sees us the way they already see us: sharp, proud, and ready.

That’s Kristan’s G-Mom in these photos. She’s been doing that for him his whole life — and you can see it. Not just in the outfits, but in the way he carries himself. Confident. Unbothered. Somebody.

Big bro, lil bro tag, CP warriors. This is what family looks like when it shows up for you, every single time. 💚

This is my little brother Kristan. 💚

Balloon hats. Cardinals gear. Leg braces and walkers. I watched him grow up close up — not blood, but CP family, which runs just as deep.

Every milestone the world doesn’t always clap for, we celebrated anyway. Every hard day, we showed up for each other.

Now look at him. Grown. Confident. Still smiling exactly the same way he did as a kid.

This is what “Going Beyond Our Disabilities to Reach Our ABILITIES” looks like over years, not just moments. Proud of you, lil bro. Always have been. 🎓💚

Every smile in this video represents a kid who showed up, participated, and got to just be a kid. 💚

Since 2010, the I AM SOMEBODY! Foundation has been volunteer-run and mission-driven — showing children and young adults with disabilities that they are capable, valued, and somebody. This isn’t about pity or charity. It’s about opportunity, inclusion, and belief.

If you’ve ever wondered what your support makes possible — this is it.

Why I started I AM SOMEBODY! Foundation 💚

I know what it’s like to live with the daily challenges and medical complexity that comes with Cerebral Palsy. I wanted to be living proof for kids, teens, and young adults with special needs and disabilities — that you can still live your best life within the abilities you have.

I share my journey because I want them to see someone who looks like them, lives like them, going after his dreams. If I can do it, so can they.

That’s the heart behind everything I build — the foundation, the brand, the book. All of it points back to one message: I AM SOMEBODY, and so are you.
