BBBTYoga BBB Mindfulness & Yoga 4 Trauma is safe space for women to heal from their trauma experiences, without sharing our trauma stories. Be sure to check it out!

I offer gentle in‑home yoga and strength training for seniors, those with health concerns, and anyone new to exercise, focusing on comfort, confidence, and moving well at home. There is healing in being with others who understand why we think, feel, and behave the way we do. We offer yoga for C-PTSD and trauma, Yin Meditation, Chair and Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra, and Book Club. There are several offerings for free under the free yoga offerings section on our website. Andra has been practicing yoga for over 19 years and meditation for well over 40 years. She has been a certified 200 RYTT and been teaching classes for over 7 years and holds a bachelors in psychology and a minor in theology. She believes that every person who heals has the capability to heal those they come in contact with. Healing creates ripple effects in our environment. She does not believe that people should have to go broke while healing themselve and many of her classes are offered on a donation bases and she is always willing to work with someone who needs financial consideration. Her main purpose in life is to see this planet heal. Civilizations have fallen in the past but for the first time it seems the entire world is falling apart. It is up to each individual to see that does not happen. It all begins with us healing ourselves.

𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗕𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗵 𝗜𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗣𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲

Most people don’t realize that the diaphragm and pelvic floor move together with every breath we take.

On the inhale, the diaphragm moves downward, the pelvic floor naturally relaxes and lowers, and the belly softens.
On the exhale, the diaphragm lifts, the pelvic floor lifts with it, and the deep core gently engages.

It’s a coordinated wave inside the body — and learning to work with that wave can support healthier movement, posture, and core function.

Ayurveda adds another interesting layer:
Most people breathe around 15 breaths per minute.
Short, fast breathing is linked to higher stress and a shorter lifespan.
Slower, fuller breathing supports longevity, nervous system health, and overall vitality.

So learning to breathe well isn’t just about the pelvic floor or the core — it’s about supporting the entire body.

When we combine slower, fuller breathing with mindful movement (like yoga), the diaphragm, pelvic floor, and deep core begin to work together in a more balanced, coordinated way. This helps the body feel steadier, calmer, and more supported from the inside out.

Breath is one of the most accessible tools we have.
And when we understand how it works, it becomes one of the most powerful.

For most of my life, I never thought about my pelvic floor. I didn’t know how much stress, trauma, surgery, breath, and movement patterns could change the way my body functioned. I didn’t know how deeply the pelvic floor and diaphragm work together every time we breathe, lift, bend, twist, or simply move through our day.

After my hysterectomy — and after surviving sexual assault — my relationship with my body changed. My breath changed. My nervous system changed. And eventually, my pelvic floor changed too.

I started leaking.

Not dramatically.
Just enough to feel embarrassed, confused, and frustrated.

I went to a pelvic floor therapist.
I went to my doctors.
I did everything “right.”

And every single one of them told me:

“Everything looks normal. Everything is functioning better than expected. We don’t see a reason for this.”

But I was still leaking.

So I had to figure it out myself.

I started paying attention to my breath.
To my diaphragm.
To my pelvic floor.
To how I moved through my day.
To how stress made me brace and hold.
To how trauma made me disconnect.
To how my inhale and exhale changed the way my pelvic floor responded to movement.

And slowly — through yoga, breathwork, and mindful movement — I learned how to reconnect with my body again.

I learned that the pelvic floor and diaphragm move together like an elevator.
I learned that stress makes the elevator freeze.
I learned that trauma makes the elevator rush or drop.
I learned that movement without breath creates dysfunction, and breath without movement doesn’t integrate into daily life.

When I practiced regularly — breath + movement + awareness — the leaking stopped.

When I stopped practicing, it came back.

It wasn’t weakness.
It wasn’t age.
It wasn’t “just part of being a woman.”
It wasn’t something I had to live with.

It was simply my body asking me to pay attention.

And I want to say something clearly:
This is true for men as well.
Men have pelvic floors.
Men experience dysfunction.
Men leak.
Men brace.
Men disconnect.
Men suffer in silence even more than women do.

While this clinic is for women, I believe men deserve to be included in the conversation — because pelvic floor dysfunction is a human experience, not a gendered one.

This workshop exists because I know how isolating pelvic floor symptoms can feel — especially when your exams come back “normal.” I know how confusing it is when no one can explain what’s happening. I know how much shame people carry around their bodies, their breath, their trauma, and their movement patterns.

And I also know how powerful it is when someone finally understands their body again.

If you’ve been leaking, bracing, gripping, or feeling disconnected…
If stress makes your symptoms worse…
If movement feels unpredictable or unstable…
If you’ve been told “everything looks normal” but you know something isn’t right…
If you’re tired of feeling alone in this…

This workshop is for you.

You’re not broken.
You’re not failing.
You’re not alone.
Your body can heal.
And you deserve support that honors your whole story — not just the clinical parts.

I would love to have you in this space with me.

A small, private pelvic floor clinic for women who want real change — not just information.

Most pelvic floor classes are large, generic, and don’t give you anything personalized to take home.
This one is different.

This 7‑week clinic is limited to 3 women total, so you get individual attention, specific guidance, and a plan that’s tailored to your body — not a one‑size‑fits‑all routine.

Over the seven weeks, you’ll learn how your breath, posture, core, and pelvic floor work together. You’ll practice movements that support leaking, pressure, heaviness, instability, or simply feeling “disconnected” from your core.

And by Week 7, most women begin noticing meaningful improvements — sometimes even earlier.

You won’t leave wondering “What do I do now?”
You’ll leave with a personalized home plan you can continue on your own, with clear steps that fit into daily life.

If you’ve been dealing with leaking, pressure, instability, or just feeling like your core isn’t supporting you the way it used to, this clinic is a safe place to begin.

Only 3 spots.
If you want to know whether it’s a good fit for your body, comment FIT or send me a message.
