POV: You found the salon that’s luxury… but also fun!

LUXURY:
We use the full L’ANZA product line and Healing Color, because healthy hair is the standard.

COMFORT:
There’s coffee and a cozy fireplace. Yes, it feels like home.

But also?
Our last branding shoot was tattoo themed. My fave.

I forget I even have a full sleeve.
put on a fake one and said,
“Is this how you feel every day?!”

Yes. Yes it is! 😜

But let’s be clear though…
Tattoos don’t make you a badass.

This is one and done.
No reading. No overthinking. First take.

Gotta quit listening to that little voice in my head.
Stop comparing. Stop chasing perfection.

One of my New Year’s resolutions was to show up more as me on social media… Not just the before and afters, not old videos of fun at but the real moments too. No matter how uncomfy it makes me.

This was my first voiceover, and honestly, it pushed me WAYYY out of my comfort zone… But growth usually lives there.

This reel is just me doing my hair, using the products I truly love, and letting myself be seen in the process. No overthinking. No redo. Just showing up and starting.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO ME!!! ✨

I cannot believe I’ve been at for four years today! Four years of working not only for the best salon, but for the most the most motivating, encouraging, ride-or-die boss on the planet, Forever grateful that I ran into after a wedding and somehow ended up having a drink with him (weird 😂)… and who knew that moment would completely change my life.

These four years have taught me so much, not just about hair, but about who I am, my strengths, my confidence, and the fact that the sky is truly the limit.

I’ve have a salon family that has supported me every step of the way. A best friend / work wifey, that I cannot imagine life without! 🫶🏼
I’ve conquered many fears. I’m almost two years sober. And somehow I still can’t believe I held a microphone and spoke in front of hundreds of people. Growth is wild. Healing is real. And I’m surrounded daily by humans who make me better and inspire me to create art. I’m forever thankful for every one of you. 🖤

After making this reel I realized a few things:
One. Lalo Salon has a freaking blast.
Two. I couldn’t even fit half the memories I wanted to.
Three. Phone quality has come a LONG way, LOL.

I could’ve made every clip match perfectly… but honestly, it shows the evolution. The growth. The glow-up. The way the world is changing and the way we’re changing with it. Always growing. Always learning. Always leveling up.

Cheers to good hair. Cheers to the future. Cheers to Lalo.

She had asked me to model for something she’d been creating… And when I saw it, I realized it wasn’t just hair, it was art!!!
A true masterpiece that I felt honored to wear and felt like a bada** doing it!

Moments like that remind me why I fell in love with this industry… The creativity, the connection, the magic.
