Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month is observed every October to honor those who have experienced pregnancy and infant loss, and to provide a safe space for those who are grieving.

The impact of Catherine Cares' Heartbeat Bears and Companion Crew members isn't always visible. Due to private health information and the sensitive nature of our mission, we typically do not know who receives a Heartbeat Bear or Companion. Our amazing hospital teams provide these special comfort items on our behalf. And while we don't always see the impact firsthand, we know the sound of a baby's heartbeat, a loving message captured from a loved one, and the feel of a soft cuddly stuffed animal offers immeasurable comfort and care during some of life's most difficult days.

Thank you for uplifting children and their families experiencing a tough journey. It means so much to Catherine Cares and the families we hope to uplift!
