I help women balance their hormones naturally through nutrition, lifestyle changes and functional testing.

Before you invest in expensive protocols and testing, do you have the foundations in place to actually benefit from the protocol? 🤔

Your body needs the foundational support first to maintain those changes.

✨️ minerals matter ✨️
They support digestion by influencing stomach acid and enzyme production, bile flow, and gut motility. They also support your nervous system, impacting your gut function.

Start by asking, "what does my body need to function better?"

For many women starting with mineral balancing can allow their symptoms (including gut) to improve without need an intense gut protocol. 👏

Comment "MINERALS" for more info on hair tissue mineral analysis testing (HTMA).

Side note: gut testing can be really helpful and needed at times, especially when dealing with complex or severe issues (but you still need the foundational minerals in place 😅)

Consider this your sign to get an HTMA (hair tissue mineral analysis) test done! 🤩

Symptoms are signs something deeper is going on and minerals are foundational to our overall health.

Minerals power:
Metabolic rate
Blood sugar balance
Energy production + adrenal health
Digestion + stomach acid
Hormone (including thyroid) production

The best part is I'll walk you through your results with a customized 12 week protocol including individualized diet, lifestyle, and supplement recommendations 🥳

I love my vibration plate and using red light therapy.

But when considering to add in the latest wellness gadget, have you tried:
Going to bed earlier?
Eating enough protein?
Eating whole foods?
Going for a walk?
Lifting weights?
Talking with a friend?
Getting outside?
Slowing down?

Without these ✨️foundations✨️ all the biohacking and next quick fix might backfire. And in multitasking and now your overwhelmed.

Which foundation do you struggle with the most?

Brushing your teeth is not biohacking. Please keep brushing your teeth. 🤣

When it comes to a healthy metabolism and fertility, stable ✨️blood sugar and insulin✨️ levels are foundational.

😱 high blood sugar contributes to 8 out of 19 leading causes of death. It is a key component of declining female fertility, affecting 1 in 6 women. 90% off adults experience 1 or more blood suagr spikes every day.

Blood sugar instability can lead to:
Mood swings
Brain fog
Belly fat
Insomnia
Headaches
Cravings
Skin issues
Fatigue
Irregular cycles

Whether you are looking to balance your hormones, get pregnant naturally, lose weight, prevent metabolic disease, or look and feel better, blood sugar balance is a must!

While I do wish I would've balanced my blood sugar sooner, I'm grateful for the timing of my 3 healthy, natural pregnancies. 🤗

Have you experienced the effects of the blood sugar rollercoaster? Are you struggling with any of the above symptoms? ⤵️

Do you have body composition or weight loss goals in 2026? ⤵️

Keep a dry erase board and food scale handy in the kitchen!

Ugh, tracking and weighing food is a pain I get it. But your one serving of cheese may actually be 3 or maybe your one serving of turkey is only half. You would be overeating calories and undereating protein.

Don't have the capacity to weigh and track all your food? Start out only tracking protein.

Or start here. 👇
1️⃣ use your hands to track portions:
One serving of
Protein = 1 palm
Carb = 1 cupped handful
Veggie = 1 fist
Fat = 1 thumb
Advantage: your hand is portable, a consistent size and customed to your size

2️⃣ use the meal template:
1-2 palms of protein
1 cupped handful of carbs
1-2 fists of veggies
1-2 thumbs of fat
Eat 3 meals a day! (With protein + carbs + fat + veggie)

3️⃣ pay attention to how you feel throughout the day by looking at your energy levels, mood, hunger, cravings, sleep, digestion, recovery, and cycle symptoms

4️⃣ remember kiss: keep it super simple
You don't have to cook elaborate meals, see me easy lunch here.

If you are tracking, what numbers should you aim for? Let me help you find your ✨️individualized✨️ calorie and protein goals! Comment "GOAL" and I'll send them to you.

Why is this important for hormone health? Under or overeating is a stressor. Increased stress ➡️ increased cortisol ➡️ decreased ovulation, period problems, and hormone imbalance

Have you tried tracking to only give in a few days later? I'd love to hear your experience. ⤵️

Feeling tired, wired, or running on caffiene. It's not just stress, your minerals are out of balance. ⤵️

Minerals are needed for: Digestion, hormone balance, stable mood and energy, and heart health

When you start nourishing with minerals, you will see more energy, better mood, improved digestion, and balanced hormones.

✨️ minerals are foundational ✨️

My mineral mocktail:
🍒 Jigsaw Potassium Cocktail electrolytes cherry limeade flavor (with 800 mg of potassium- if you taking electrolytes, check the potassium content)
🥭 Camu Camu powder: high in vitamin C (essential for health adrenals)
🧂 Redmond Real Salt 1/4 tsp (yes, we need sodium! But check your sources)
You can find Jigsaw Potassium Cocktail and Camu Camu powder on my Fullscript account for 15% off

The best way to check minerals? HTMA testing. Hair tissue mineral analysis shows what is happening at a cellular level. Blood is a transporter of minerals, only showing a snapshot in time.

🤩 I'm currently accepting beta clients for HTMA testing and only have a few spots left. Comment "MINERALS", and I'll send you more info.

Want better hormone balance? Start with the basics—because they work 👇🏼

✨ Eat breakfast (and all your meals!) – Skipping meals = blood sugar rollercoaster = hormone chaos. Your body needs steady fuel to feel safe and stay balanced.

☀️ Get sunlight daily – Morning light sets your circadian rhythm, boosts serotonin, and supports cortisol and melatonin balance. Your hormones love sunshine.

😴 Prioritize sleep – Hormone repair, detox, and regulation all happen while you sleep. Poor sleep = poor hormone health, period.

🧘🏼‍♀️ Manage your stress – Chronic stress steals from your s*x hormones and burns out your adrenals. Deep breaths, boundaries, and nervous system support matter.

These aren’t “extras.” They’re hormone foundations. Start here. 🌿💫

Which one do you struggle with?

Have you eaten peanut butter, nuts, or beans because they are high in protein? ⤵️

A protein dense food means it's high in protein in relation to calories. This means most of the calories are coming from protein.

While the protein in almonds, chickpeas, and peanut butter count towards your protein intake, do you really want to eat over 2 cups of chickpeas, almost 1/2 cup of PB, or 1 cup of almonds?

Most foods contain a combination of the 3 macronutrients, protein, fat, and carb, but as you can see here some foods are more protein dense than others. Nuts, seeds, nut butters, and cheese are better fat sources, while beans and legumes are good sources of carbs. All are great foods to incorporate in a well-balanced diet.

To get more bang for your buck, choose high-quality meat sources like chicken, turkey, beef and pork, and seafood like salmon, tuna, and shrimp, eggs, plain Greek yogurt, and cultured cottage cheese.

Protein goals vary from person to person. Start out aiming for 30 grams of protein at every meal (including breakfast!).

Comment "PROTEIN" and I'll send you what your specific protein should be.

What's your favorite source of protein? 👇

What does this mean? ⤵️

⁉️ Before you were prescribed a form of birth control, were you told how it actually works?
❌️ it shuts down communication from your brain to your ovaries, stopping ovulation
❌️ it doea NOT regulate your cycle. It turns it off.
❌️ it does NOT balance your hormones. It replaces them with synthetic estrogen and progestin (not the same as progesterone- it actually has the opposite effect)
❌️ your body is not making your natural hormones, and you lose the benefits of these amazing hormones. They support heart health, bone health, thyroid function, nervous system regulation (brain function, mood, sleep) and more.

⁉️ Were you told about the possible side effects?
Increased risk of cancer (breast, cervical, liver, uterine)
Increased risk of stroke and blood clots
Microbiome disruption (increasing mood disorders)
Lowers thyroid hormone
Increased inflammation
Nutrient depletion (depletes essential vitamins and minerals)

⁉️ Was it prescribed to treat symptoms without looking into the root cause of the problem?
If you are having irregular, heavy or painful periods, acne, or missing your period altogether, we need to figure out why you are having these symptoms first. Treating the symptoms without addressing the root cause is a disservice.

⁉️ What about the pros?
Yes, in some situations there can be pros! Short term in can help with symptom management. While taking it for symptom management, you should be working to support your body to treat the root cause. Pregnancy prevention: if you don't have the bandwidth to learn cycle tracking and don't want a baby, this can be one option (but it is recommended to support your body through nutrition and gut and liver detoxification while on it)

Once you have been education on how birth control works, the short-term and long-term side effects, and how it might help you and you decide it is the best decision for you. Then go for it! You have my support in making an informed decision.

Knowledge is power. Read Dr. Jolene Brighten's book, "Beyond the Pill."

I'd love to hear your experience in the comments. 👇👇👇

⚡️Protein, protein, protein ⚡️
Are you sick of hearing about it yet? There’s a good reason you are hearing so much about it. Protein is the building block of life and is essential to virtually every cellular process. It helps your body repair cells and make new ones. Protein increases metabolism, improves mood, improves muscle protein synthesis, increases satiety and fullness, supports healing and recovery, and reduces cravings.

But quality matters. Just Ingredients is dedicated to providing protein from 100% grass-fed whey, no artificial sweeteners or sugar alcohols, and only real food ingredients. And they are having a sale! With my code ErinHughes you can get 20% off all protein powders from 2/27 until 3/2.

Some of your favorite ways to use Just Ingredients protein powder:
French vanilla to make a homemade vanilla latte
Added to plain Greek yogurt: Jon and I like peanut butter chocolate. The kids like the strawberry.
Added to oatmeal: the Snickerdoodle is delicious in hot oatmeal or add it to overnight oats
Smoothies: the options are endless
Baking: the vanilla is easy to add to pancakes, waffles, or muffins to up the protein content
As a protein shake: simply mix with milk or water and enjoy!

If you try it, be sure to let me know!
