These are *general guidelines*. Every baby is different and has different timelines of growth, development, and familial needs.

Do your best not to compare where your baby is to this reel or to another baby. There is always nuance no matter what the internet tells you.

From 6-12 months, breastmilk or formula should still be the main source of nutrition for baby.

As babies are first learning to eat solid food, there shouldn’t be a dip in milk volumes. Breast milk or formula should still take priority over solids.

As they work to increase their meal volumes, you may notice their intake slightly dips, but there shouldn’t be a drastic dip. The solid food they are taking in still isn’t sufficient to meet their nutrient needs.

As they get a little closer to 12 months, their milk intake may decrease and aiming to wean off milk as the primary source of calories at 12 months.

âžĄïž6-7 months = 24-32 oz 1-2 meals
âžĄïž8-9 months = 24-32 oz 2 meals
âžĄïž10-11 months = 20-30oz milk working up to 3 meals
âžĄïž12+ months = 16-20 oz ... 3 meals + snacks

ideally 16 oz per day of breastmilk or formlua (infant formula no more than 16 oz and ideally none for 15+ months

if you need a little more of a visual on how to increase meal volumes, the timing of milk feeds and naps, and allergen intrroduction, comment “SAMPLE” for our sample feeding schedules from 6-12 months.

Remember, little kids have tiny airways that easily become blocked. Modify what you can, and eliminate what you can’t (popcorn)

Not to mention littles under 2, its recommended by the AAP to avoid added sugar. So don’t feel bad about swapping for other food or non food items.

If you’re going to prepare for one thing before summer hits
 let it be this đŸ€

You are so much more capable than you give yourself credit for.

You just need someone to actually show you what to do.

That’s what this class does.

In 2 hours, you’ll walk out knowing how to handle common uh-ohs or what ifs in kids.

Because you’ll have actually practiced the skills with your own hands.

Here’s what you’ll leave knowing:
-infant + child CPR
-How to help a choking baby or child
-How to confidently manage common pediatric illnesses at home
-First aid for the everyday stuff — burns, bites, bonks, bleeds
-How to tell when something is “wait and watch” vs an emergency
