Just want to make a little introduction👋
I was born with a port-wine stain birthmark under my right eye and let's face it, kids can be mean.
As I got older and learned to love myself and quickly realized that I wanted to dedicate my life to making people feel beautiful inside and out. This has never been a job for me. It's been my passion for as long as I can remember.
When I was 18 years old I was working at a hair salon, Ulta, and going to college full time to help support my family. My mother was a principal and my father was a taxi driver. This is when Uber came about and taxis were no longer used as transportation.
I was presented an opportunity to manage my own salons that would require me to pick up my whole life and move to the city of St. Louis/Southern IL at the age of 19. It was always my dream to have my own spa/salon one day.
Shortly, I became infatuated with the permanent makeup industry and loved bringing smiles back on faces who had been through chemo, cancer, diabetes, thyroid, and alopecia.
Quickly, microblading and permanent makeup became a trend and everyone was doing it. But I wanted more. I finished up school and enrolled in an accelerated nursing program. Worked full time doing permanent makeup, graduated with honors and no student loans.
Soon after nursing school I became certified in Botox, fillers, and laser treatments. I found my dream job working for a medical spa and under a dermatologist specializing in medical-grade skincare, world-renowned lasers, and injection techniques while continuing to perform permanent makeup services in my spare time.
