Eid blessings to you & yours! My day started with spotting the first rose of the season blossom in my parent’s yard, and then I was greeted by the scent of a huge rose bush at the Masjid welcoming us for the Eid prayer. It was delightful, alhamdulilah.

Especially after what happened in San Diego, my heart felt full of gratitude today towards all of the security guards (Muslim and not) around the country who worked diligently during Eid prayers so that everyone else could feel safe while praying and celebrating.

Protection is from God and at the same time we must be thankful to the humans who serve God through protecting others, like the 3 uncles who protected the community in San Diego with their lives. May they be wrapped in everlasting Grace and Joy in their graves. 🤲🏽✨

It is rich in iron, minerals and vitamins such as vitamin A, K, C, B6, and amino acids and is very gentle on the digestive system.
