Today I enjoyed a HOT lunch break on perhaps my favorite asset of Columbia, the MKT trail.

This was after my appointment with my nephrologist at MU Health, Laura Hesemann. I am so grateful for her proactive and aggressive approach a bit over a year ago to pursue a transplant and get myself on the UNOS list.

As you can see from this page, that is quite the process, but I am successfully on lists with two networks—one at KU Medical Center in Kansas City, and the other at Barnes Jewish in St Louis.

The gold standard in this process Is a living donor. Thank you so, so much to those that have initiated that process on my behalf!
