How is it possible that 18 years ago today God gave me a handsome, loud, sweet, smart, funny, did I mention loud little boy 🙂

I wouldn’t trade him for anything - he is one of the best big and little brothers - He knows the most useless information and movie knowledge.

time passes way too quickly and he is growing up way too fast -

We have a new bus driver this year but Ms Cindy sought out her boys for their annual back to school picture
They were so happy to see her 🥰

25 years ago my first sweet boy came very early and quickly into this world - so tiny and sweet now he towers over me -
I am so blessed to have such a handsome, smart, patriotic and talented young man - I couldn’t ask for a better son, big brother and uncle🙂
You are the best role model for your brothers -98% of the time (that other 2% when you are teaching them bad words is debatable 🤦🏼‍♀️)

A year ago - after having Covid (for the 2nd time 🙄) I started losing my hair. Not just normal shedding but in clumps every time I combed or washed my hair. It was incredibly depressing. So I sought out answers but the last thing I wanted was to add more chemicals to my body. I looked to better foods, vitamins and natural supplements and using collagen and biotin in my shampoo and conditioner. Besides the fact that I am long overdue for a trim, I am very happy with how far my hair has come. I’m not sure it will ever be as thick as it once was, but it has definitely come a long way.

Reasons to not Mess with an Autism Mother

1. Some of us have given up on social skills and don’t care what we say or do.

2. We’re not afraid to have a serious “meltdown” of our own.

3. We are tired and all the patience we have are for our kids.

4. We have a far shorter fuse for nonsense as a result of our responsibilities but a FAR thicker skin….

5. We can get you in a hold/lockdown position in less than 3.5 secs.

6. We can shoot you a look that would make a linebacker tremble in his boots!

7. Chances are it’s been awhile since we’ve had a full night of sleep and that will give us a reason to plead insanity!

8. Our tolerance and patience is for our children who didn’t choose to have special needs, not for someone who choose to behave inappropriately and is able to control their actions.

9. We’re probably already on edge and it would be stupid to push us over.

10. We are sleep deprived and already defensive, and we spend all of our patience on our children, doctors, therapists, social workers and teachers, why would we waste an ounce of it on a total stranger?

11. We’ve had to fight from the moment of our child’s birth so by the time you p**s us off we’re seasoned battlers who could win a war.

12. We devote our lives to our children and don’t need more stress and people who don’t understand our life.

13. Wherever there is a cub, there is a mama bear….
We’re always watching.

My sweet little granddaughter is 2 weeks old already🥰

one side effect from COVID that hasn’t gone away for me is a high heart rate

Now I did do a lot of cleaning today but nothing extreme

But just using my crosswave vacuum had my heart rate high today you can see the variation on my watch

My RHR seems to be in the high 80s to low 90s even when sleeping - a couple of times in the last week it’s been in the high 70s while sleeping.

This picture was taken after WALKING from the kitchen to my bedroom

I’m feeling so much better but I wish this would get back to normal

I don’t even care that my smell is still gone
