❤️ An Important Update from Our Practice Family ❤️
We want to share an important update regarding FNP Carla. Recently, she underwent an unexpected emergency heart surgery.

We are incredibly relieved and happy to share that the surgery was a success, and she is recovering well! 🎉 She is back home resting, but she will need a few more weeks to fully heal before she can return to the office in person.

🩺 What this means for your family’s care:
While she focuses on her recovery, we want to ensure your little ones are still taken care of. As we are able we are still processing and filling needed prescription medications and fulfilling referral requests.

Telehealth Appointments: On a limited basis, Carla will be available for sick visit patients via video/telehealth appointments starting next week.

In-Office Care: For well-checks or hands-on care, our wonderful team is here to support you just like always. Please call the office if you need to schedule or adjust an appointment. We will remain closed at this time for in-person health visits.

RICA Family,

It is with a heavy heart that we must make this post to inform you of our providers current condition. The provider at the practice has experienced a medical emergency and is unavailable currently. We want you all to know she is undergoing the best possible treatment at this time and we ask for your patience as we navigate this difficult time in her life. We strive to provide you all with the best possible care, at the same time the provider needs this same care for herself to get her back to peak performance to care for your little ones. We understand the stress this may place on families and we ask for the same peace and love we strive to provide for you for our provider at this time. When she recovers we will do our best to backfill and see everyone who had existing appointments as soon as we are physically able. A sole provider practice creates strain on our resources as an office and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to you and your families. If you would like to send condolences and notes of recovery please drop them at the office or leave us a voicemail. She would be delighted to hear all the gratitude you have provided us over the years. Thank you for your patience and understanding during this difficult time and we hope to see you back at the office soon!
