When will you see results?

Many clients notice improvement after just one treatment, but a series of 3 sessions is recommended for optimal results. After this, we suggest a yearly maintenance treatment to keep up your results as needed. Depending on your sun exposure and your at home skincare will depend on the maintenance frequency of your treatments.

What is the downtime?

Skin may appear flushed, similar to a mild sunburn, for up to 72 hours. Pigmented areas will temporarily darken (we often describe as a “coffee ground” appearance) before naturally shedding to reveal clearer, more even toned skin.

Meet one of our Thistle Ambassador runner-ups, Jessica!

Jessica is one of our skincare club members and a familiar face at our events. We are so grateful for the way she continues to show up, support our team, and trust us with her skin journey.

In her submission, Jessica shared that she did not grow up with a skincare routine or feel like she knew all the “right” skincare language. However, she has grown into a routine that feels approachable and right for her with our care.

One of the things we appreciate most about Jessica’s story is how much she values education. She shared that the time our team takes to teach clients makes a huge difference in the trust she has in us. That means everything to us, because our goal is never for you to feel confused, pressured, or overwhelmed. We want you to understand your skin, the treatments that will get you closer to your goals, and the why behind your plan.

Swipe 👉 to see Jessica’s healing process after her Solaria CO2 laser resurfacing treatment. Everyone’s post-treatment recovery can look a little different, but generally, you can expect:

Days 0-1: Skin may feel hot and tight, with redness similar to a strong sunburn. Mild swelling can occur.

Days 2-3: Swelling may peak and the skin can begin to resemble a “coffee grounds” appearance.

Days 4-7: Peeling and flaking usually begin as old, damaged micro-layers shed and fresh skin is revealed.

Weeks 2-4: Redness continues to fade, texture improves, and collagen production continues beneath the surface.

Jessica also has a strong at home skincare routine to help prepare her skin before treatment and support her recovery afterward, which is such an important part of any advanced skin plan!

As we move into the “-ber” months, it’s the perfect time to start planning more advanced skin treatments. Cooler weather, less sweating, and fewer days in direct sun can make it easier to follow post-care instructions and protect your results.

So how do you know if your skin needs Lumecca IPL or Solaria CO2 laser resurfacing?

🌟 Lumecca IPL Photofacial is best for color correction. Think post-summer pigment, sun spots, redness, broken capillaries, and uneven tone. If your biggest concern is brown spots, blotchiness, or redness, Lumecca may be for you!

🌟 Solaria CO2 Laser Resurfacing is best for smoothing fine lines, texture correction and deeper resurfacing. Think fine lines, acne scarring, enlarged pores, sun damage, crepey texture, and overall skin quality. If your skin feels rough, uneven, lax, or like it needs deeper correction, Solaria may be the better fit!

The right choice depends on your skin type, current concerns, downtime, and goals. For some clients, we may recommend one of the treatments and for others, the best plan may include both at different points in the season!

Do not disturb, we’re busy doing yoga and watching fluffy cows! 🧘‍♀️🐮

Yoga overlooking the Highland Barn herd, sunshine, fresh air, and smoothies featuring our Cymbiotika® supplements afterward. We enjoyed having time to disconnect, move our bodies, and be present.

After Mother Nature had other plans for us yesterday, we finally got our morning on the farm, and it couldn’t have been prettier!

Meet one of our Thistle Ambassador runner-ups, Paige!

Paige’s journey with us began in 2018, when she was looking to feel confident in her skin again, and found a team that listened to her goals, educated her through the process, and created a personalized plan that helped support both her skin and confidence.

One year in our new space 🥹🎉

It feels impossible to put into words how much this year has meant to us. To our clients who continue to trust us with your confidence, to our families and friends who cheer us on, to the local businesses we have had the honor of partnering with, and to the community that always shows up for us, thank you. You have made this year one of our favorite chapters yet!

Every inch of our space was designed with heart and purpose. We wanted Thistle to feel like the perfect blend of beauty and comfort, a place where you can walk in, take a breath, and feel completely cared for.

Our hope has always been that when you walk through our doors, you feel supported and confident in the care you receive. We want this space to be more than a medical aesthetics practice.
