The heaviest weight I've ever lifted was myself.

I wasn't always able to hold myself up in the air.

When I started aerial and Yoga Trapeze, I had to build strength gradually—through simple bodyweight conditioning, mobility work, and learning how to move more efficiently.

One of the things I love about Yoga Trapeze is that it combines strength, flexibility, fascia health, and recovery in a way that feels playful rather than punishing.

I've never been much of a gym person, but I've always loved movement. This practice allowed me to build strength without feeling like I was forcing myself through workouts I didn't enjoy.

Strength doesn't have to look one particular way.

Sometimes it starts with simply learning to trust your body a little more each day.

What’s one thing your body can do today that you couldn’t do 5 years ago?

If you'd like guidance on starting a Yoga Trapeze practice at home, send me a message with the word TRAPEZE.

✨ The Blue Moon whispered into your ear:
“You’re a star, my dear.”

Maybe you've been doubting yourself.
Maybe you've been playing small.
Maybe you've been so busy taking care of everyone else that you've forgotten your own light.

This is your reminder:
Just like the moon and the stars, your light is already part of who you are.

Today's yoga trapeze flow explores four star-inspired shapes with side stretches to create a little more space in the body and a little more expansion in the heart.

✨ Do you have a full moon ritual?

Rainy days are better in a hammock ☔️

Current rainy day priorities:
🐶 cuddle the dog
📖 read suspended in the air
🎶 sway to music dramatically
💻 attempt to work
🙃 hang upside down for absolutely no reason
😴 accidentally nap in the hammock

Honestly… this might be the ideal nervous system reset.

How are you spending the rainy day today?

Your body speaks in sensations, cravings, tension, emotions, energy levels, and movement desires.

Sometimes what we call “symptoms” are actually messages.
Invitations back into balance.

Some bodies crave softness like water.
Some crave grounding like earth.
Some need the awakening heat of fire.
Some long for spaciousness and freedom like air.
And some ache for movement that reconnects body and spirit through ether.

Maybe your body doesn’t need more force.
Maybe it needs different energetics.

This is the foundation — learning how to work with your body’s elemental needs instead of against them. ✨

So… what is your body craving right now?
🌊 Water
🌱 Earth
🔥 Fire
💨 Air
✨ Ether

You may not be “tight.”
Your body may be experiencing dryness.

Dryness in the tissues can show up as:

• stiffness that keeps returning
• gripping instead of flowing
• cracking joints
• over-stretching without relief
• tension that never fully lets go
• feeling disconnected from softness in movement

And many women respond by forcing more stretching, more mobility, more intensity.

But sometimes the body doesn’t need more force.
It needs more nourishment.

This yin-inspired yoga trapeze movement focuses on:
✨ decompression
✨ fascia glide
✨ breath
✨ nervous system softness
✨ fluid movement support

Especially during stress, perimenopause, and hormonal shifts, the body can lose its sense of elasticity and fluidity.

Movement can either reinforce tension… or help restore resilience.

If this resonates, I created a Tissue States Quiz to help you discover your movement pattern and which Movement Energetics your body may need next.

What if your menopause symptoms weren’t random?

One of the biggest things I’ve realized working with women in midlife is this:

The same movement does not work for every body.

Some women become:
🔥 overheated and wired
💧 dry and depleted
🌊 puffy and stagnant
🧠 tense and braced
❄️ exhausted and cold
💪 weak and unsupported

There are six different tissue state patterns, rooted in the Vitalist tradition, and each one responds differently to movement.

This is why generic workouts and wellness advice often stop working during perimenopause and menopause.

Your body may not be broken.

It may simply be asking for different support.

✨ I created a free Tissue State Quiz to help women discover their dominant pattern and learn what kind of movement their body actually needs.

So many women I work with tell me the same thing:

“My body feels tight… heavy… like it’s working against me.”

And the instinct is to push harder.
Stretch more.
Try to “fix” it.

But what if your body doesn’t need more force…
it needs more support?

When your nervous system feels safe, your body responds differently.

It softens.
It releases tension.
It starts allowing strength instead of resisting it.

That’s what’s happening here.

Not just a movement—
but a moment where the body learns:

“I can do something challenging…
and still feel supported while I’m doing it.”

That’s where real change begins.

If your body has been feeling stiff or disconnected lately, I’m curious—
what have you been noticing?
