5 NAIL CARE FACTS YOU MIGHT NOT KNOW! ✨

We all love a fresh manicure, but how much do you actually know about your nails? Let’s talk nail facts!

1. Your nails don’t “breathe.”
Your nails get oxygen and nutrients from your bloodstream—not from the air. So you don’t need to take a break from polish just to “let them breathe!”

2. Cuticle oil is more than just a pretty finishing touch.
Using cuticle oil regularly helps keep the skin around your nails moisturized and can help prevent dryness and cracking.

3. Picking off your gel can take your natural nail with it.
Even if it peels off easily, you can remove layers of your natural nail along with it. Always let your nail tech remove your manicure properly!

4. Your fingernails grow faster than your toenails.
That’s one reason your toes can usually go longer between appointments than your fingers.

5. Your nails are NOT tools! 😂
Opening packages, scraping stickers, or popping things open with your nails can lead to chips, cracks, and breaks. Save those beautiful nails for showing off!
