Safe Harbor Free Clinic was at The Grove back to school event yesterday and what a great success their event was! So many kids received backpacks and school supplies. They also offered free haircuts and had multiple organizations present to share resources with the families. We are honored to participate in this event each year and to have the opportunity to let people know about our Smokey Point clinic. Thank you, for inviting us to be a part of your outreach to the community. You are an amazing body of people who are stepping in to help thousands of kids have a solid start to the new school year!

Congratulations to Savvy Traders Collective who are celebrating their 1 year anniversary! Thank you for your heart for our community and for your heart for Haiti. We at Safe Harbor Free Clinic wish you many years of business success ahead!

Today marks exactly one year since we first opened the doors of Savvy Traders Collective. This journey began as a massive leap of faith—a true labor of love filled with great risks, but even greater rewards. Beyond these walls, our hearts belong to Haiti, where we serve as missionaries trying our absolute best to care for 200 beautiful children in an orphanage.

We are human, and we do not always get everything right. As natural people-pleasers, learning that we cannot be everything to everyone has been a challenging lesson, both here and on the mission field. Yet, we wake up every day determined to try our best.

We want to say a profound thank you to our wonderful vendors who trusted us with their booths, to our loyal customers who walk through our doors, and to every supporter who has kept us going with kind words. You are not just supporting a local business or helping our community neighbors thrive; you are directly impacting the lives of children in a third-world country who have endured hardships that are truly unimaginable. You are bringing hope to their lives, and we are more grateful for you than words can properly express.

To help us share more of this journey with you, we encourage you to follow our social media page (Love A Neighbor) where we regularly post updates and photos from the orphanage in Haiti. A great next step is to stop by the shop this week to see some of the new items our local vendors have brought in, as every visit truly helps sustain this mission.

Safe Harbor Free Clinic is celebrating 17 years of providing free healthcare to those in need! Friday night, June 19th, 2009, Safe Harbor Free Clinic opened our doors to people lined up down the sidewalk and 17 years later, we are here tonight in a different clinic space but still serving our community. If you look closely at the photos, you will see that 2 of our volunteers who were there on the first night of Safe Harbor, Keith Erickson and Kathy Johnson, are also here tonight! In addition, 2 other volunteers here tonight, Trena Howe and Leigh Wilson, began volunteering just a couple of weeks after we first opened.. There are numerous other volunteers who began serving all those years ago who are still serving today, including one of our staff members, Karen Schmidt and board member Carrie Cabe. What a legacy of kind, compassionate, caring people who love others well. Happy Birthday, Safe Harbor Free Clinic!

Meet Andy, Safe Harbor Free Clinic's oldest volunteer. Andy has a birthday in a couple of weeks and will be turning 91 years young! We're grateful for Andy, who helps keep our dispensary cleared of expired medications, and his wife, Pauline, who volunteers in our Podiatry clinic. They have volunteered with us for 15 years!

They're proof that you're never too old to be useful in life.

Have you been enjoying the warmer days recently? Well, our volunteers and patients at our Smokey Point clinic are feeling a lot cooler on those warm evenings with the new HVAC system that was installed by Puget Heating! All of this was made possible by the combined generosity of Puget Heating , Swift Electric,, and the 100 Women Who Care About Snohomish County group. Thanks to each of them for playing their part in this much needed upgrade to our space. #100+womenwhocareaboutsnohomishcounty

Thank you to Windermere Stanwood Camano for giving us the opportunity to spend a day with you in the rain but still having fun! We are honored to be the recipient of the proceeds from the Shred-A-Thon!

Today we had the honor of presenting a donation check to Safe Harbor Free Clinic in Stanwood from the funds raised during last month’s Shred-A-Thon 💙

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, we raised over $2,500 to support Safe Harbor Free Clinic, a vital local resource providing free healthcare services to those in need right here in our community.

We’re so grateful to everyone who came out to shred documents, donate, and support such an important cause. Events like these are a reminder of how strong and caring the Stanwood & Camano community truly is.

Thank you for helping us make a meaningful impact together! ✨
