Cooked the 1st spaghetti squash from my garden. Overcooked it. Now it's mushy. Going to make pie and soup with it. It smells good anyway. I only got 2 off the volunteer plant in my compost before the invasive lantern flies killed the plant. Can't wait to see what comes out of the compost pile next year. 😂

Tinned Cod Livers

These are surprisingly very palatable. A good way to get Vit A and D. There is a lot of oil in the tin from the livers. It is very clean tasting and mild.

The time for families to eat healthier is now.

“67% of the daily energy consumed by children is ultra-processed junk food,” scientists say in a recent study.

Where’s the outrage? Where’s all the parents who’re sooooooo scared about their kids getting the Rona and making them wear masks everywhere yet feeding their kids corn dogs, chips, donuts 🍩, pizza and sugary drinks?

Why are school administrators still allowing disease causing ultra-processed foods to be served in schools?

The media and experts say hospitalizations have increased in children, yet the researchers find a super majority of these children have diet induced diseases! (85% have some underlying health issue.)

Why the double standards?
